Did anyone catch the brilliant Coca-Cola ad during the Super Bowl that was set in a GTA-esque world obviously playing off the theme and look of that game? Instead of violence, the protaganist spreads love and turns the world around from the GTA madness to a happy, peaceful musical. I think this commercial is really interesting for two reasons: one, great commentary on the violence of the game and even on the non-violence some people are craving right now during this war time; and two, is this the first time a video game has ever been parodied for a national audience?
