Parable
Imagine a man who, as the result of a demonic deal, is trapped in a tower where he is compelled to endlessly repeat a series of cruel, tortuous labors. But because of a magical enchantment he perceives them to be the most delightful sensual and intellectual pleasures. That’s what games are like.
No, not the actual man in the tower, the imagining.
That sounds like life. You have the happy man, who imagines everything is delightful, and the sad man, who finds everything to be tortuous. And that proves again, games may be the most important extension of life!!

We can easily think of games as absurd, pointless, an unending and difficult task; but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy them.
